BIS Hallmarking is done by the Bureau of Indian Standards and certifies the purity of the gold. 916 purity indicates that the gold is 91.6% pure which is 22 karat gold. Hallmarking is done at Government certified testing centres where jewellery is melted down and tested for its purity and a laser engraving is made on the jewellery.
In all Khazana showrooms in India, every ornament is individually hallmarked. This means that both the earrings in a pair of earrings will be hallmarked unlike at other jewellers’.

Gift cards are available and can be redeemed only at our showrooms in India. Gift cards starting from Rs. 500 are available at our showrooms. At the time of redemption, the gift card amount will be adjusted against bill value. Be sure to mention you want to redeem a gift card before the bill is raised.
Yes, if your old gold jewellery is BIS 916 Hallmarked, we will take it at the prevalent gold rate. For non-Hallmarked jewellery, its value will be ascertained by our certified appraisers based on the purity and based on your final decision, will be exchanged.
