Khazana Jewellery launched its first retail outlet in the year 1989 at NSC Bose Road in Chennai.

In 1992, the Government of India accorded the company the status of 'Export House'. In 1993, Khazana Plaza was erected on Cathedral Road, an up market area of Chennai, housing its second showroom, the flagship store. Khazana showrooms became the 'first' in India to offer a photo guarantee card promising 100% buy back of gold jewellery with the customer not losing a single rupee, a precursor to present day's Hallmarking. The third showroom was in the heart of the gold market of T. Nagar, Chennai, in the year 1998.

After consolidating in Chennai, Khazana Jewellery turned its focus on rest of the South Indian markets. In 2004, Khazana opened its first showroom in Somajiguda, Hyderabad and in 2005 two showrooms were opened in Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada. Due to an increase in public demand, Khazana opened its sixth showroom in Hyderabad at Abids in 2006. On 28th June 2006, two showrooms were consecutively inaugurated in Bangalore - one at Commercial Street and the other at Jayanagar. Khazana's ninth showroom was opened in Trivandrum on 24th January 2007, its first showroom in Kerala. Khazana opened its tenth showroom in tirupathi on 09 may 2007, its fifth showroom in Andhra Pradesh.Khazana’s 11th showroom was opened in Mangalore on 25-Jul-2007, its third showroom in Karnataka.Khazana opened its 12th showroom in Guntur on 13-Oct-2007, its sixth showroom in Andhra Pradesh.Khazana’s 13th showroom was opened in Coimbatore on 28-Feb-2008, its third showroom in Tamilnadu. Khazana opened its 14th showroom in Kakinada on 12-Mar-2008, its seventh showroom in Andhra Pradesh. Khazana’s 15th showroom was opened in Salem on 03-05-2008, its fourth showroom in Tamilnadu. Khazana opened its 16th showroom in Kukatpally, Hyderabad on 11-May-2008, its eighth showroom in Andhra Pradesh.

By the end of 2008, Khazana will have 30 showrooms spread across South India directly employing 2000 people and with a turn over of more than 1600 crores. Thanks to the vision and determination of Kishore, Khazana now is a well-recognized and respected brand in South India and is poised to make inroads to foreign markets shortly.
