Mr. Kishore Jain was born in Nellore and has been in gold jewellery business since 1975. Being a very strict and disciplined businessman, he quickly made a name for trustworthiness and quality. However, consolidating the business in Nellore was not enough for this ambitious young man. After a detailed study of jewellery markets in India and abroad, he decided to open his first retail outlet at NSC Bose Road, Chennai, in the year 1989.
In the year 1992, the company was accorded the status of 'Export House' by the Government of India. In 1993 Mr. Kishore Jain built Khazana Plaza on Cathedral Road, an up market area of Chennai housing Khazana's second showroom, the flagship one. His showrooms became the 'first' in India to offer a photo guarantee card promising 100% buy back of gold jewellery with the customer not losing a single rupee which is a precursor to present day's Hallmarking. His third showroom was in the heart of the gold market in Chennai at T. Nagar in the year 1998.
After consolidating in Chennai he turned his focus on rest of the South Indian markets and opened his third showroom in Hyderabad in 2003. In the following years, he opened his showrooms in Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada in 2004 and 2005 respectively. Due to an increased public demand and encouragement he opened his sixth showroom in Hyderabad (Somajiguda) in 2006. Seventh and eighth showrooms were opened in Bangalore on 28th of June 2006; one at Commercial Street and the other at Jayanagar. Their ninth showroom was inaugurated in Trivandrum on 24th January 2007, their first showroom in Kerala. Khazana opened its tenth showroom in tirupathi on 09 may 2007, its fifth showroom in Andhra Pradesh. Khazana’s 11th showroom was opened in Mangalore on 25-Jul-2007, its third showroom in Karnataka. Khazana opened its 12th showroom in Guntur on 13-Oct-2007, its sixth showroom in Andhra Pradesh.
Khazana’s 13th showroom was opened in Coimbatore on 28-Feb-2008, its third showroom in Tamilnadu. Khazana opened its 14th showroom in Kakinada on 12-Mar-2008, its seventh showroom in Andhra Pradesh. Khazana’s 15th showroom was opened in Salem on 03-May-2008, its fourth showroom in Tamilnadu. Khazana opened its 16th showroom in Kukatpally, Hyderabad on 11-May-2008, its eighth showroom in Andhra Pradesh.
By the end of 2008, Khazana will have 30 showrooms spread across South India directly employing 2000 people and with a turn over of more than 1600 crores. Thanks to the vision and determination of Kishore, Khazana now is a well-recognized and respected brand in South India and is poised to make inroads to foreign markets shortly.

Kannan holds a B.Com (Hons) degree from Calcutta University and ACS with 11 years of post qualification experience (including 6 years in retail domain) in areas such as finance, taxation, internal audit and company secretary. Major previous assignments include 4 years with Style Spa Furniture Ltd (KK Birla Group - Nov'00 to Aug'04) as Deputy Manager - Finance, 4 years with Upasana Finance Ltd (TVS Group - Jun'95 to May'99) as Senior Executive - Finance.
G. M. Shrikanth holds a Bachelor's Degree in Science and a Master's in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations and started as a Personnel Officer from Dec 1995 to March 2001 in Spic Petrochemicals Ltd. He served as the Executive Manager (Personnel) in Fisher Xomox Sanmar Ltd and later joined Style Spa Furniture Ltd as Manager - HR and Customer Service from July 2002 to Jan 2005.
M. Narasimha Rao holds a Diploma in Computers (DCME) from Gudlavalleru Polytechnic and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from IGNOU with 8 years of experience in areas such as Hardware, Software, Networking and Storage. He also had a good working exposure with ERP packages. From Jan 1999 to Nov 2005, Mr. Rao served at Rain Calcining Ltd (R.C.L) as an Incharge, IT.
Simon C Thekkedom holds a Bachelor's degree in science and Master's in Business Administration. He has 13 years of post qualification experience in FMCG, Petroleum and Telecom Industries. Simon started his career with Heinz India and later worked with Pepsi, Caltex Gas and Tata Teleservices in Sales and Marketing functions.
Krithika Vijay Karthik with graduate in B.com, M.F.M and ACS and also holds Post graduate diploma in business management. Her Career started as a Company Secretary in Webword Holding & Management Private Limited (Murugappa Group Co.) from February 2004 to April 2005. She served as the Manager - Secretarial in Laserwords Private Limited (a Murugappa Group Co.) from April 2005 to September 2007.
B.Dhinakar holds a B.Com degree and ACA & ICWA with 16 years of post qualification experience as Audit manager, Chartered Accountant, Manager - Finance & Taxation in various companies.
P. Dattatrai holds B.Sc Chemistry with MBA in Materials Management from IIMM and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration with Graduate Diploma in Packaging Technology from IIP. He spent quality time for 6 years as the Asst. Manager in Sears Electronics Ltd and another 3 years as Asst. Manager for TTK Pharma. Mr. Dattatrai remained as the Sr. General Manager for 11 years from 1995 to 2006 in Amruthanjan Ltd. He has experience in handling Purchasing, Stores & Logistics functions of Supply Chain Management with additional involvement in Packaging Development and Quality Control.
